PADI Rescue diver

One of the most interesting PADI courses. You will expand your diving knowledge and experience beyond recreational level because you will learn to look beyond yourself, considering your own safety and the safety of others.

While uncommon scuba diving emergencies sometimes occur, as a Padi Rescue diver you will be trained to anticipate and respond to a variety of diving-related scenarios, gaining in this way personal confidence in your own diving abilities, that are necessary to take your first step towards becoming a Padi dive master.

The rescue diver course will prepare you to prevent problems and manage diving emergencies.

Finally all of these skills are reviewed during the challenging open water rescue scenarios. You will also complete an Emergency Assistance Plan. Anyone from the age of 15 years old can participate in the rescue diver course.

You must have an Advanced certification and have successfully completed the Emergency First Response within 24 months.

You must have logged 20 dives before you can be certified as a Padi Rescue Diver.

If you are between 123 and 14 years old, or you have a child between this age, there is a Padi Junior Rescue Diver program available. Padi Junior Advanced and Emergency First Response certification is required for the Junior Rescue Diver.

With the Padi Rescue Diver certification you can open the door to the highest recreational ranks in the Padi system, by signing up for a Padi Dive Master training. As a Padi rescue diver with 5 distinct specialties you will be automatically certified as Master Scuba Diver, the highest unprofessional Padi level.
