We are keen to work with students and we have put together special packages and rates available only for them and the Universities and colleges where they study. All of these are available through the colleges or directly to students who wish to organise their own groups
We welcome students doing field trips, research or recreational diving, to come to dive in this beautiful marine area.

Group leaders/guides – bring 10 paying divers and you will dive free or spread the cost through the group – whatever you prefer.
We are also working with a conservation initiative to support the work of Progetto Mac - www.progettomac.it and any students coming would be very welcome to take part in this during some of their dives. This project is designed to enlist the help of any of us who are passionate divers, recreational or otherwise, in important conservation research. ‘Progetto M.A.C.’ is an Italian initiative coordinated by marine biologists from the Universities of Genoa, Bologna and Ancona.
Their mission is to build up a large dataset of distributional records for Mediterranean benthic conspicuous and endangered species, bringing together thousands of observations done by recreational divers, and making these available for the whole scientific community through the Internet.
In this way, a more detailed picture of the marine environment of the Italian coasts will be achieved and this ‘critical mass’ of data will be of incredible help to decision makers in future years, in the design of new Marine Protected Areas and in the management of existing ones. We have qualified Marine Biologists who speak Italian + English with a very good knowledge of the science of the Marine Park as part of our staff.

There is good value accommodation available. A Hostel for 22 euros per person per night – 12 months a year, caravan mobile home facilities very close by – May – October – around 20 euros per person per night.
DWS Diving can cater well for student groups. We have our own covered Modulo M boat that accommodates 13 divers and access to a rib boat for larger groups.
DWS Diving is open all the year round.
The region has generally a mild climate with water temperatures at their lowest in January when it can drop to 12. Optimum season is from April to November.
